Newer Apple Watches – a New Era of Standalone Smart Watches

Apple Watch, the smart watch giant with a relatively strong foothold in the best-selling wearable device market, is expected to launch its second generation smart watch in the fall with the iPhone 7.

The failure from the major tech brands such as Sony, Acer, Asus, and LG to come up with a simple smart-watch device, meeting real needs and expectations within a reasonable budget, has given Apple an edge over smart watch industry. Apple Watch is able to rule sales thanks to established retail presence, right industry partnerships, and the smart marketing tactics that popularized wearable as a lifestyle trend.

Technology Research company Gartner Research predicts a 50 million sale for smart watches this year. Everyone is looking forward to the release of latest version of Apple Watch 2.

Speculations on the New Apple Watch

The statement of Apple CEO Tim Cook, “you’ll see the Apple Watch getting better and better,” has stirred up lot of speculations and gossips regarding the next gen Apple Watch. It is a natural expectation that the new version of the Apple Smart Watch will be devoid of the defects possessed by Apple Watch 1. The previous version lacked perfect integration of hardware and software, built-in GPS chip, water-proofing, swappable smart bands etc.

Apple Smart Watch admirers are looking forward for a redesigned device with a new internal hardware and a software. Built-in cellular connectivity feature is a natural expectation for the Apple Smart Watch 2. Upgraded screen with micro-LED panel, Wi-Fi triangulation, and enhanced battery life are other rumors.

All these upgrades and enhancements are sure to make Apple Smart Watch an efficient standalone device. After all, expecting some thrilling features from a brand called Apple is quite natural.
