Do you have the habit of answering calls in your iPhone by changing it to speakerphone mode? You might choose to answer calls over the loudspeaker while driving, or to make it audible to other relevant persons whom you are with. Whatever be the case, if you prefer speakerphone as opposed to the earpiece, it is better to make it a default option in your device.
Apple has integrated this option of diverting calls automatically to speaker by default as an Accessibility feature on their iOS devices. These assistive features are designed to allow people with disabilities to experience the fun and function of iOS.
By simply navigating within the Settings app once, you can answer all calls in speaker mode automatically. This is far better than manually tapping the speaker button each time you get a call.
- Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iPhone
- Tap on General
- Scroll down and select Accessibility
- Navigate down and tap on Call Audio Routing
- Head on to select the Speaker option
Now you have set speakerphone as the default for answering incoming calls from your iPhone.
